As one of the area’s much-loved historic outdoor pools, Petersfield Lido is a vibrant community space where people of all ages come to relax, exercise, socialise and spend time with friends and family.

Many local people have fond memories of learning to swim in the outdoor pool, and our mission is still to provide generations of smiles in the heart of the community.

We are keen for even more people to benefit from the Lido’s fantastic resources. In 2025 we celebrated a milestone of 50,000 swims at the pool. By opening all year round and investing in our facilities we will continue to ensure that Petersfield Lido is the best charity-run community pool in East Hampshire.

As a small charity, we rely on donations and sponsorship to support the income generated from ticket sales.

Who runs the Lido

The lido is run by a management team made up of trustees and paid staff. They are supported by seasonal staff and volunteers.

As a small charity, we select our trustees because of their skills, passion and willingness to commit time to the running of the pool. Between them, the trustees are responsible for the finance, projects, operations, fundraising, community engagement and maintenance of the pool.
